     My name is Gerry Frederick.  I am amateur blogger and a part-time freelance writer and photographer. I started my photography interest back in the early seventies while still in school. I was forced to learn the long and hard way by shooting B&W negitives and running to the darkroom to develop my shots. Although at the time I was convinced that it was abuse but I now know that the tough and though instructor was doing me a big favour. Forcing me to learn it mostly on my own and learning more every day. That intense education has helped me time and time again over the years as I work to perfect my hobby. When DSLR’s came around I was a quick study and made the transition to digital rather seamlessly. I don’t know that I will ever get over the ability to have a colour print in a minute or two rather that an hour or two. I hope that all will enjoy what I post and any feed back is most welcome.
